TROUBLESHOOTING

Let’s get you
back to creating.

Start with the issue you see. Keep your original file until you’ve checked the result.

Google sign-in did not finish

Reopen the popup and choose Continue with Google again. Complete the sign-in window. If your session expired, sign in again with the same account used to start the job. Check your connection if sign-in remains unavailable.

Cannot reach Optimizer or access is denied

Check your internet connection, reopen Bugtok+, and confirm you are signed in. An access or credit error may require help with your account. A server error may be temporary; wait and retry. Never share session tokens with support.

The queue is full, or my job expired

The service optimizes one video at a time, so a queued status is expected during busy periods. Keep the Optimizer tab open in Manual mode, or the TikTok Studio tab open in Direct mode, while waiting.

The queue has limited capacity. If it is full, wait before retrying. If a job has expired or the server restarted, submit the video again; the earlier result may no longer be available.

The file is too large or processing failed

Use a file within the size limit shown by the extension. Confirm that your MP4 or MOV plays locally. Retry with a smaller compatible video if the service reports a timeout or resource limit.

Direct Upload is not appearing in TikTok Studio

Confirm Direct Upload is selected in the popup and its first-use confirmation is accepted. Reload TikTok Studio. If TikTok has changed its interface or Direct continues to fail, switch to Manual Upload and upload the saved result yourself.

Direct Upload failed after I selected a video

Use the available recovery controls to retry, explicitly continue with your original, or discard the selection. Confirm TikTok accepts the video and check playback before publishing.

My download is taking too long or seems stuck

Cancel the current attempt, then retry the optimization with the same original video. Canceling and retrying can resolve a stalled download. Keep the Optimizer tab open until saving finishes. If it keeps happening, check your connection and try again later.

No credit is deducted if the optimized file was not successfully downloaded or handed over to TikTok Studio. If it already completed, canceling afterward does not undo that completed optimization.

I cannot find the optimized download

Open Chrome’s Downloads and look for a filename ending in _optimized.mp4. Your browser may ask for a save location or add a suffix to avoid a name collision. If saving was interrupted, retry the optimization.

The Sound Quality toggle has no effect

Disable any separate Sound Quality extension, reload TikTok Studio, then check Bugtok+’s switch again. It changes specific post fields, not the visible video or audio file. TikTok’s processing behavior is outside Bugtok+’s control.
